DEPARTMENT OF TRAUMATOLOGY AND HAND SURGERY
INTRODUCTION
The department treats musculoskeletal diseases by surgical methods mainly. The profile of the department is broad, and covers the following areas:
full trauma surgical profile
acute trauma care
reconstructive surgery
septic musculoskeletal surgery
post-traumatic pathology
complex orthogeriatric care
endoprosthetic and sports surgery
full spectrum of hand surgery
We perform between 4,500 and 5,000 operations a year and we are a regional centre.
